...and if you are in Raleigh this weekend try to stop by the Handmade Market on Saturday.

Happy Friday!

I love these colorful DIY mobiles!

These instructions are found here. Hope everyone has a sun filled weekend!

P.S. I might have some house news for you soon!

I'm loving this striped outdoor chair! You can find it at Terrain.

I would like to be...

...lounging in this cute little garden on fabulously upholstered chaises.

Etsy Shop of the Week - The Treehouse Press

Do you recognize these plates? Yep, from Erika's adorable nursery. Guess what? You can have your very own from The Treehouse Press on Etsy. They also have other great decoupage pieces.

Happy Weekend!

Dan and I are finally going to look at some houses since putting our house on the market! We didn't want to start looking too soon because we do need to sell our house first. Still waiting for the right buyer, but we figured we would start to figure out what we wanted in our next house. We know we want a garage and an 'extra' room, but other then that we are open to anything.

I'm also in a little slump...I'm in need of a project! However, it's not such a good time for a project. I don't want to spend money on our current house, that we don't have too, and we don't have a new house yet. I can at least start collecting inspiration for the new house. Here are a few...

Have Dan build some daybeds for a porch & have Mom sew some great pillows:

We have this coffee table, it just needs a fresh coat of paint...oh, and I need to first get the table back from my sister (it's in her college house and for you fellow Wolfpackers it's on Brent Rd):

I like the mix of grey with the red, which would be nice in my husband's NC State room:

For a guest bedroom:

I would love some fun wallpaper in a powder room:

Brentwood Regency State

And last but not least, a fabulous blue & white dining room:

Have a great weekend!!!

I'm loving these new vases by Jill Rosenwald!

It would be delightful to be lounging here with my chocolate lab right now, instead of sitting in a cube.

I wish...

On the way to the lake this past weekend I spotted a mirror just like the one pictured above, the gold one, and I wish I would have made my husband stop to look at it. It was sitting outside a little shop on the side of the road in the middle of no where, so I'm sure it was a great deal. I'll have to keep my eyes out the next time we head to the lake, which will hopefully be sooner then later. Hmm...maybe I'll drive there on Friday, I have the day off.

It's been one year ago that I started the blog. I really didn't think that I would keep up with it for a year, but I did. I must admit I've been slack with it too many times. Hopefully, this coming year will bring much more.

For my one year blogiversary I thought I would share some photos of our house, I can't believe it's taken my so long. Now, these pictures are from a few years ago so things have been tweaked, but you'll get the over all image of what we've done. Hope you enjoy!

Kitchen Before:

Kitchen After:

I don't have a picture, but we painted all the cabinets white, it was amazing how it brighten everything up.

Living Room Before:

Living Room After:

As you can probably see, we did A LOT of painting! Everything below the chair rail was crackle finish...PLEASE DON'T EVER PUT CRACKLE FINISH ON YOUR WALLS! We had to sand all the walls down before we could even begin priming, it was quite the job, but well worth it. My wonderful husband and mom helped with so much! They made the coffee table bench and my mom sewed all the curtains in the living room and kitchen...thanks again for all your help Mom!

Hope you enjoyed.

Isn't in one of the most gorgeous Easter table scape you've ever seen!?! Of course it was done by the one and only Eddie Ross. See more great photos and the inspiration here.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Good Friday!

Delightful Pillow

I love this new pillow from anthropologie! It reminds me of the fabulous Nina Campbell wallpaper by Osborne & Little. If you're not sure about committing to dark walls, the pillow is a great alternative to bring in some of the same colors.
