Merry Christmas!

But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord."

-Luke 2:10-11

WeddingS Weekend!

{image via here}

I'm not going to be around for the next couple of days. I have a little bit of wedding madness that starts this evening. I have two beautiful friends, Lindsay S. and Lindsay R., that are getting married this weekend, and guess what?! I'm in BOTH weddings! The festivities start this evening with a bridal shower for one, tomorrow rehearsal and rehearsal dinner for the Saturday wedding. Then Saturday it's a bridesmaid luncheon for the Sunday bride and Lindsay S.'s wedding in Greensboro, and then Sunday off to Lindsay R.'s wedding in Lexington! It's going to be a crazy weekend, but so much fun and I can't wait to see all my good friends!

Delightful Room

I would like to be hanging out here...

Christmas Tree Candle!

I'm always looking for a candle that smells like a fresh cut Christmas tree. There are lots of 'Christmas Tree' scented candles out there, but none smell REAL. On a recent shopping trip to Target I found the perfect Christmas tree scented candle, it smells sooo real! It's Mrs. Meyer's Iowa Pine scented soy candle...you should really try it for yourself if you like the smell of freshly cut Christmas trees.

Happy Friday & Furbish Studio

Do you know Jamie Meares of I Suwannee?! She has a great blog, just started her own design services, Furbish Studio, is now opening a store, and lives in Raleigh! She's been posting sneak peaks of the new store over the last couple months and the most recent postings got me very excited! I can't wait to visit this cute shop once it opens. I think it will be a new must see in Raleigh. Make sure you check out her blog and website.

Have a happy weekend!

Laundry Room Update

So, for the last couple months I've been thinking that my laundry room needs an update and better organization. It's just so blah right now. My husband has been getting on me b/c it's always a mess, well, maybe if I spruce it up I'll actually want to do laundry and keep the space organized. I don't have a very big laundry room, but I have a LOT of stuff stuffed into the space. Our house doesn't have a linen closest, so a lot of the linens end up in the laundry room. I love the vibrant colors (I LOVE blue & green) in the laundry room pictured above, and the crisp white seems to keep everything clean. The orange shade is a good way to incorporate the orange, which I would have a heard time committing to in a larger scale. This may have to go on my winter house project list.

House Tour - See Jane Work

I was going through some old Sneak Peeks at Design*Sponge and came across Kelly Osborne's, of See Jane Work, fabulous house. I love the clean lines and pops of color like orange and chartreuse green. Make sure you check out her online shop for great office supplies!

Just picked up this little Jonathan Adler number with some birthday money, thanks Mema! I just love the orange and the great hardware on top. Find some other great Jonathan Adler items, like his needlepoint pillows, at the Gilt sale.

Etsy Shop of the Week

I'm enjoying these organic, hand printed bags by artist Ashely Van Etten. They are a nice change from the traditional L.L.Bean tote bags...that I do have in every size and would like some more, but now maybe I'll replace with these great totes. You can find them at Ashley's shop Willowwaw, she also has pillows and hand printed note cards.

A delightful house...

I'm really enjoying this little house for sale, in Melbourne, that blog Desire To Inspire stalked...And make sure to email me if you liked to purchase this little number for me ;-)

Find more great photos here & here.
PS - Sorry for not being around lately, I think I'm finally back!
