Summer 2013 Bucket List

I've been seeing 'Summer Bucket List' all over the internet for awhile and decided to give it a try.  I'm hoping this will motive me to be a little more adventurous with Jake and not just do the same ole same ole.  So far, we've only accomplished making ice cream and go to the pool, but we're planning to knock a few big ones off the list over the next few weeks.  What are you planning this summer?

I have a small bucket list of things I want to accomplish this summer too...

Learn to sew
Read, Read, Read
Organize our closets and cabinets
Get my haircut (It's been over 2 years, yikes!)
Paint the bonus room

Hopefully I can get motivated and start checking activities off our lists!

My baby boy is 2!

One of life's distractions recently was my sweet little boy's second birthday.  He's two!  That's crazy!

We had a beautiful spring day to celebrate Jake with a 'Tool' birthday party.  It was a great day with family and friends.

This & That

I know it's almost Christmas, but I thought I would share some a lot of photos from Thanksgiving and the beginning of December.

Jake was a very busy boy during our time in Wilmington giving thanks..

Played with lots of TRUCKS!

Chewed on some raw broccoli for awhile and then decided he was done chewing

Big Thanks to my Aunt and Uncle for hosting everyone!

Next up...a birthday in Charlotte

All the boys are starting to turn 2 and I just don't like it!  No more babies, but big toddlers!

Lastly, finding the perfect Christmas tree and we found it...

Finishing up DP orders, but hopefully I'll have a few pictures of Christmas from around our house to share soon!

Christmas Stockings

Poor Jake just got an old school 99 cents stocking for Christmas this year.

I did at least add his name.  You like the old school glue and gold glitter don't you!?

The hubs and I also need new stockings (love the look of the ones we have, but you can't put anything in them), so I didn't want to spend a lot on a stocking for Jake until I knew what I wanted to do for the whole family.

Here are a few ideas I found on Pinterest.  What kind of Christmas stockings does your family have?

Yes Please

But unfortunately Jake will not own this unless it goes on major clearance {not holding my breath}.
